The event will be held at 4937 South 78th East Avenue and will also include a tour of the facility and remarks from organizational leaders and community partners. Lunch will be available with local food trucks.

The new headquarters will be the central hub for The Demand Project and will have a specially designed Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) exam suite which will allow survivors to receive immediate, trauma-informed medical care.

“This building represents more than a new office. It represents safety, healing and a renewed commitment to protecting children and supporting families in our community,” said Kristin Weis, co-founder and CEO of The Demand Project. “By bringing prevention, advocacy and medical response together, we are creating a stronger network of care for children and families across Oklahoma.”

The ribbon cutting is free and open to the public. Guests are asked to RSVP in advance to assist with planning for parking and food. To reserve a spot, you can go here. For more information on The Demad Project, you can visit their website.
