A domestic dispute between brothers led to a double stabbing last week in East Tulsa, according to Tulsa police.
At around 12:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, TPD said officers were called out to a stabbing at the Windsong apartments near 31st and Mingo where they said the argument started between two brothers that led to the attack.
When officers arrived, officers said they found two female victims — one stabbed in the upper back and the other in the hand. According to the police report, the suspect, Javier Robles, fled the scene and headed southwest, but police quickly took him into custody.
They said Robles pulled a knife on his younger brother because he thought his brother had a gun. TPD said once Robles pulled a knife, his girlfriend and his mother both tried to intervene, leading to the girlfriend being stabbed in the back and his mother sustaining lacerations on her fingers.
The girlfriend was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
