TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Fire Department are working to learn what caused a fire at a Pizza Hut in east Tulsa Friday morning.
According to firefighters, the fire started on the outside of the building then ran up the wall to the roof.
“We had to force entry into the building, start pulling down the ceiling, and open up the walls to get to the fire.” said TFD Captain John Smith.
Smith said there was some interior damage due to them having to tear the walls and ceiling as well as some water damage. No one was inside the business at the time of the fire.
The event is currently under investigation.
