She was ordered to pay $100 for each count, plus costs and then ordered to attend Benchmark Animal Rehabilitative Curriculum (BARC) classes.

We reported in March that an animal control offer were called out to the residence of Mia and her husband, Craig Hagin, to assist police. Officers said they saw unsanitary conditions in the home including trash, spilled food, and the smell of urine and feces on the ground as well as the body of a dead cat. Both were later arrested and the animals in the home were taken into custody.
