TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police say a woman was arrested and booking on a complaint of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, after they say they caught her Thursday morning getting into a Jeep that had been reported stolen.
Tulsa Police say the Jeep had been stolen sometime overnight between Wednesday night and Thursday morning in west Tulsa, after the victim left her keys, purse, and wallet inside the Jeep.
As it has many times now, they say TPD’s Real Time Information Center was able to spot the stolen vehicle.
In this case, they say it was located in the 51st and Mingo area.
Police arrived on the scene and say they waited as 35-year-old Nichole Robbins walked out of a Quik Trip and start to get in the Jeep.
That’s when they say she was arrested.
Police are reminding people not to leave valuables like purses, keys, and wallets inside their vehicles unattended.
