Once inside, they found Keontai Moses, 37, in the hallway with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they learned that Moses had been arguing with his neighbor who lived down the street.

When officers went to the suspect’s home, they did not want to cme out and speak with them. In response, they activated the Special Operations Team to assist with getting the suspect to surrender.

After several attempts to persuade the suspect to surrender, TPD used an armored vehicle to open the front door and used chemical agents to get the suspect to leave the home.

The suspect exited the home and then arrested for first-degree murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
