Police investigating after shots fired into north Tulsa house

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department is searching for a suspect after shots were fired into a family’s house in north Tulsa on Wednesday.

Police said officers were called near East Apache Street and L.L. Tisdale Parkway after reports of shots being fired.

The caller said she was woken up by gunfire and then heard a bullet hit her window.

Officers arrived and spoke with the woman, who was home with three children.

Police said during the investigation, officers found and collected several rifle rounds in the street and on neighboring lawns.

Officers searched the area for video cameras and tried to contact several residents, but were not successful.

No one was injured during the incident, and it remains under investigation.
