BIXBY, Okla. — The City of Bixby is holding three public meetings to discuss issues on the potential August bond.
The Proposed bond will not raise taxes and includes expansions at the wastewater treatment plant and Bentley Park, the construction of an animal shelter; which the city does not have, a new fire station, and several street improvement projects.
The first bond meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 6 p.m. at the Bixby municipal building, located at 111 North Cabaniss Avenue. The second will be held on April 30, and the third will be May 5.
The bond election is on August 25.
