MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Muskogee Police arrested a suspect who they say struck a child with a vehicle in a hit and run Monday night.
According to police, the accident occurred on South K Street and Hamilton around 8:50 p.m. They say the suspect hit the juvenile victim who was riding his bike and then left the scene.
The juvenile was taken to a hospital in Muskogee with an injury to his leg.
Police were able to identify the suspect and arrested them later that night. They were charged with an accident resulting in a nonfatal injury and failure to stop.
