The victim of the theft told TPD he had left home for a few minutes and when he came back, the trailer was gone. Inside of the trailer was roughly $50,000 worth of band equipment which belonged to Josey Scott.

On May 1, TPD was able to track the trailer to a house near 48th Street and South 34th West Avenue.

Officers identified the suspect as a 47-year-old man. He was outside in a “Josey Scott, the Original Voice of Saliva” t-shirt when officers arrived on scene.

A search warrant was served and executed and, in their search, Tulsa Police found guitars, drums, and equipment inside of a shed along with boxes of t-shirts in the house.

The suspect said he unloaded the stolen trailer at the home and then drove it outside of the city to another property. It was later found in rural Pawnee County.

The trailer has been returned to its owner, and the suspect was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail for grand larceny after former conviction of a felony (AFCF) and knowingly concealing stolen property AFCF.

Tulsa Police said this is an arrest, not a conviction.
