TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Fire Department battled a hotel fire during the drive home on Thursday. It was at the OYO Hotel just south of I-44 on Yale.
TFD said that the building was vacant and there were no injuries related to the blaze.
The smoke could be seen for miles, and traffic was backed up in both directions on I-44 and on Yale south of the interstate.
According to the Tulsa County Assessor, the building is around 135,498 square feet and was last sold in Nov. 2022.
