TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department says a motorcyclist is dead after they collided with an automobile in midtown Tulsa Saturday afternoon.
Police were assigned to the crash around 5:30 p.m. and located a collision scene near 48th Street and Sheridan with an injured automobile driver and a critically injured motorcyclist.
Both were taken the hospital for treatment.
Police say the operator of the motorcycle, identified as Justin Dye, was taken into emergency surgery and was pronounced dead later.
The driver of the automobile was treated at the hospital and released.
