TULSA, Okla. — A roughly three-block stretch of 91st street in Tulsa between Harvard and Yale will be completely shut down, starting Tuesday.
The section of closed roadway lies between Jenks East Elementary School and Jenks East Intermediate School.
Crews are rebuilding the road and also putting in larger stormwater boxes, or culverts, that cross the creeks in that area.
The work is expected to take several weeks and is supposed to wrap up before school starts in the fall.
If you’re trying to reach a business or neighborhood on the opposite side of the closure, you’ll either need to go up to 81st Street, or down to 101st Street and take the long way around to circumvent the closure and get to where you’re going.
