OWASSO — Owasso Police responded to a “shots fired” call on Tuesday at around 2 a.m. at a residence located near 89th Street North and 139th East Avenue in the Silver Creek Addition after someone shot a gun into a residence.
When officers arrived, they observed bullet holes in a home and collected evidence consistent with a gun being fired into the home from the street. Officers say the homeowner was able to provide the name of a possible suspect from a previous confrontation.
The suspect, 38-year-old Nicholas Steven Wylie, was taken into custody after officers reviewed security video from nearby homes and conducted a search warrant on his vehicle.
Wylie was arrested on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill and was eventually transported to the Tulsa County Jail.
