KRMG has learned the owner of the land near Highway 51 and the Creek Turnpike told city leaders last week that the letter of intent to sell the property expired. According to the city, no reason was given or discussed as to why the letter of intent was not renewed.

In April, KRMG broke the news that a site selector had expressed interest in a pre-development meeting, which would have been the first chance for city leaders to meet with the prospective company. The City of Broken Arrow said an official request never came and that meeting never happened.

City leaders caution that even though this particular data center discussion is over, others may come up in the future.
