TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are investigating an attempted robbery that ended in a shooting on Thursday evening.
Officers responded to the shooting call near Mohawk Boulevard and North Lewis Avenue.
According to police, a preliminary investigation indicates that a suspect armed with a knife and another suspect armed with a gun attempted to rob a victim, who then fired a shot and struck one of the suspects.
The suspect who was shot was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said. The second suspect is still outstanding at this time.
There are no other reported injuries as a result of the incident at this time.
Detectives were processing the scene and reviewing security footage as part of the investigation.
