TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are currently investigating a stabbing incident that left one person dead and two other injured Thursday night in east Tulsa.
According to police, they responded to a multiple stabbing call at Madison Park Apartments near 12 Street and 98th East Avenue before 11 p.m.
A woman died from her wounds sustained in the stabbing and two men had stab wounds to their chests.
Officers treated the two men until paramedics arrived and took them to the hospital. One victim is listed as being critical. The other man sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Officers talked to one of the victims who they say identified the person who stabbed them. He said the suspect and the other victims were hanging out in the apartment when they started arguing. The suspect went to the bathroom and came back and attacked the victims.
TPD arrested the suspect and charged him with first-degree murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
We are choosing not to release the suspect’s name at this time as they have not been officially charged at the moment.
