TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa couple has been sentenced after admitting to forcing a child to “engage in sexually explicit conduct” while being recorded.
According to U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson, 47-year-old Ryan French and 44-year-old Lexie French were sentenced by a U.S. District Judge.
Ryan was sentenced to 30 years in prison for production of child pornography and possession of child pornography. Lexie was sentenced to 20 years in prison for production of child pornography.
Both Lexie and Ryan will have to register as sex offenders after they’re released from prison and will be under supervision for life. Both were ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution separately.
According to authorities, in March 2025, the FBI received notice from the Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police Department and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) about a police report filed by Lexie French saying that her husband, Ryan, was “attempting to blackmail her.”
Authorities said Lexie reported Ryan “forced her to use cocaine and perform ‘sexual acts’ on minor children.” Authorities said Lexie’s story kept changing once an investigation was launched by law enforcement and OKDHS.
According to court documents, the couple admitted to persuading a child to engage in sexual acts and admitted to recording it. Authorities said Ryan told law enforcement “he could view and save sexual acts” that he told Lexie to through their home security system.
