TULSA, Okla. — In observance of Independence Day, the City of Tulsa will have several facilities closed in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
City Hall, Municipal Court, the Household Pollutant Collection Facility, and Oxley Visitor Center and Tulsa Parks Recreation Centers are closed today since Independence Day fall on a Saturday this year. Public safety and mission-critical operations will remain open.
If residents need help with water or sewer problems, they can call the 24-hour emergency numbers at (918) 596-9488 for water and (918) 586-6999 for sewer.
Trash, recycling, and residential curbside yard waste will be collected according to the regular service schedule.
MetroLink will not have bus service running today.
Locations open today will be:
- Tulsa Animal Services (closed Saturday, July 4)
- Tulsa Mulch Site (closed Saturday and Sunday, July 4-5)
- Tulsa Pools and Splash Pads (also open Saturday, July 4)
- Mohawk and Page Belcher Golf Courses
- Oxley Trails
- Tulsa Zoo
