TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department arrested two people accused of stealing 94 packs of Pokémon cards from a south Tulsa Target on Wednesday.
Police said officers responded to a call about a couple stealing from the Target near East 101st Street South and Memorial Drive around 6:54 p.m.
Target staff said a man, who is known to be a repeat offender, was leaving the story with 94 packs of Pokémon cards. The merchandise was worth around $470.
Surveillance video showed the man and a woman bringing their baby into the store and stopping in one of the aisles. The man started grabbing the cards and putting them in the baby carrier, while the woman kept watch.
Police said the couple and baby stopped by the store’s registers to grab plastic bags, but left without paying.
Officers arrived and found the couple still parked in the parking lot, with packs of Pokémon cards scattered across the dashboard.
The couple was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail for organized retail crime and larceny from a retailer. The baby was picked up by a friend.
