WACO, Texas — They were out, then they were in, and now they’re out again.
After being disqualified for allegedly playing an ineligible player, the Tulsa National Little League baseball team almost had a chance to play for a trip to the Little League World Series.
On Monday, a Texas judge temporarily blocked the team’s disqualification from the Southwest Region Tournament, giving them new life. Under the temporary restraining order, Tulsa National would have faced Texas West, but a judge dissolved the injunction, and Oklahoma is out again.
Texas West has now officially advanced to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
