TULSA, Okla. — A new petition is calling on PSO to rethink its higher electric rates as some customers say they’re struggling to keep up with their bills.
The Change.org petition started in Tulsa, but its author now says people from across Oklahoma have signed it.
The petition calls for more transparency and a review of PSO’s rate increases, saying higher utility costs are putting more pressure on families.
PSO said its rate changes are needed to help cover rising costs and investments in the electric grid.
