SKIATOOK — “Mama” has struck again, this time at a bank in Skiatook.
Last week, Owasso Police worked a potential fraud case at First Bank of Owasso, in which an individual impersonated an elderly woman resembling Vicki Lawrence’s character from “Mama’s Family.”
Owasso Police said the suspect attempted to withdraw money from someone else’s account using fake identification, but left before any money changed hands. On Wednesday, the suspect allegedly struck again at a bank in Skiatook, according to police.
The suspect wore the same large clothing, oversized glasses, and bad wig, and Skiatook Police say the alleged crime took place at Oklahoma Capital Bank.
Reports said the individual has reportedly frequented banks in numerous cities and towns throughout Oklahoma and has possibly made appearances in other states.
