TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are asking for the public’s help after a 19‑year‑old man was shot early Sunday outside an event center near 51st and Memorial.
Shortly after 12:28 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire and found the victim in the parking area with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Officers provided first aid until paramedics arrived. The teen was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Witnesses told investigators a fight broke out in the alley next to the event center during a party, and one shot was fired. Detectives are working to determine what led to the confrontation and who pulled the trigger.
