OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. — A Sand Springs man is dead following a crash in Osage County Monday afternoon.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Steven Dale McGehee, 76, was traveling eastbound on a motorcycle on Lake Road around 3:30 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a sharp curve and left the roadway to the left. McGehee’s vehicle rolled and came to rest on its left side. OHP says he was ejected from the bike during the roll.
McGehee died from his injuries.
OHP says he was not wearing his seatbelt.
