TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department arrested a man accused of violating a protective order and stalking a woman.
Police said officers responded to the call around 4 p.m. on Monday.
The victim said the man was on her property near South Braden Avenue and East 33rd Street banging on her back door. Police said this was the latest in multiple protective-order violations by the suspect in recent days.
The suspect had shown up at the home multiple times, leaving notes and attempting to make contact with the victim.
Police said the suspect left the scene before officers arrived, but was found walking near East 38th Place and South Canton Avenue. He started running away, but officers caught up to him and he was taken into custody.
