He is expected to be ok.

Police say the boy’s father, 20-year-old Keilin Thompson, told them he put his son down in the bedroom and walked into another room to take a phone call.

Officers say Thompson told them he ran into the bedroom when he heard a gunshot and found his son and the gun on the floor.

Police searched the home and say they found the gun still on the floor and discovered it was reported stolen out of Bartlesville.

Thompson was booked into jail for Child Neglect and Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property.
