TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Firefighters say they were scrambling Wednesday morning to keep up with a rash of what appear to be arson fires.
They say there were five different fires in just three hours, between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
And they say the fires were all in the same square mile between Pine St. and Admiral Pl. near Lewis Ave.
They say the first call involved a Dodge pickup truck on fire near Pine and Wheeling.
Then, they say the extinguished a fire on an RV at Jasper and Xanthus, a fire on a garbage truck near Lewis and King, a fire on the wood around a door to an auto body shop, near Lewis and King, and a fire at an abandoned house on Admiral Pl. a few blocks east of Lewis.
Thankfully, they say nobody was hurt and damage to property was minimal.
