Through partnerships with Tulsa Tech and CareerTech, this new model will help “increase access to high-skill pathways” and give students the resources needed to transition seamlessly into the workforce and give them broader postsecondary options.

Students will be able to choose from health and emergency services, automotive and transportation, technology and infrastructure, and personal professional services tracks to study.

By offering these programs at Central High School, more TPS students will have access to Tulsa Tech opportunities, and the number of waitlists can be reduced.

“Tulsa Public Schools is committed to equipping students with the tools and skills necessary for success beyond high school,” said the district. “The addition of polytechnic high school will offer young people an opportunity to receive career and technical training that improves access to high-demand, high-skill, and high-wage jobs.”
