TULSA, Okla. – A man faces multiple charges after Tulsa police say he was drunk behind the wheel.
An officer was parked near 34th and Garnett Sunday night when they noticed a driver speeding through the area. The driver, identified as 37-year-old Victor Trinidad, stopped at a red light but sped off as the light turned green, leading the officer on a chase.
Trinidad turned into the Bristol Park apartments and sped through the parking lot before getting out of the truck and trying to run away.
Officers caught up to Trinidad and took him into custody. Trinidad had several open beer cans inside his truck and seemed intoxicated, but he refused all tests.
Trinidad faces charges of aggravated DUI, endangering others while attempting to elude, reckless driving, and transporting an open container.
