Tulsa Police caught a porch pirate just as holiday delivery season starts to ramp up.
On Sunday afternoon, officers responded to a call from a man who said he saw a woman take a package from outside his door near 13th and Quincy Ave.
The victim told officers he tried to catch the suspect, 32-year-old Laronda Brown, but she surprisingly outran him and hopped a fence. However, he had video of the incident.
In less than an hour, officers said they found Brown at a bus stop near 11th and Peoria, and she refused to identify herself. Brown was arrested for Larceny and Obstruction.
Tulsa Police said this can be a reminder to protect your packages when they arrive by being there for delivery or sending them to a secure location.
