WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office says an Owasso man has been arrested, accused of arranging a meeting for sex with what he believed was a 14-year-old girl.
The Sheriff’s Office says despite the fact their decoy clearly stated to Robert Leon Boyd that they were a 14-year-old girl, he continued to send messages to the decoy for weeks, discussing sexual topics, and eventually arranging a meeting on October 7th at a Broken Arrow convenience store, where he was taken into custody without incident.
He’s facing a count of Lewd Proposal to a Child under 16 and Soliciting Sex with a Minor by Use of Technology.
