They ask residents to please keep the following in mind:

  • If you encounter a traffic signal that is not functioning, treat the intersection as a four-way stop and proceed with caution.
  • Police, Fire, and EMS services remain available for emergencies.
  • Please reserve 9-1-1 for emergencies. Avoid calling 9-1-1 solely to report a power outage or request an estimated restoration time.
  • Stay away from downed power lines and report any immediate electrical hazards.
  • We understand that power outages can be frustrating and appreciate everyone’s patience while the situation is addressed.

The city says it will provide updates as they become available.
