Despite several attempts to avoid jail, a 32-year-old man was arrested on a slew of charges.
Tulsa Police officers were investigating a report of a man threatening people with a gun at 2nd and Elgin, and when officers attempted to speak to Elonte Battle about the incident, they said he drove off in his grey Mercedes. Reports said Battle hit two other drivers, but they only reported minor injuries.
Battle then crashed into a bridge near I-244 and N. Peoria, and officers say he attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended.
While in handcuffs, officers say Battle attempted a third escape but did not get far.
He was arrested on five complaints, including Aggravated DUI, Escape, and Endangering while Eluding.
