Man arrested for burglary of convenience store in south Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — A man has been arrested after Tulsa Police say he stole several items from a convenience store in south Tulsa.

 

Police responded to the CVS on 61st and Lewis for a reported burglary on Sunday, November 23 around 10 p.m. They say that security reported that a man threw a rock through the front glass doors, entered the building, and proceeded to steal multiple items before fleeing the scene.

 

The man dropped several shot-sized bottles of Fireball whiskey. Police say they found a man matching the suspect’s description nearby at 1600 East 61st Street.

 

Police say Adan Orozco Jr., 45, was seen carrying several packs of stolen razors and aftershave taken from the store along with multiple bottles of shot-sized whiskey.

 

Orozco was arrested for 2nd degree burglary and booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
