TULSA, Okla. — If you don’t already have the correct identification to fly, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says it will cost you.

The Tulsa International Airport says that starting in February, the TSA will be charging passengers a $45 fee who don’t have an acceptable ID and need to use the TSA’s alternative identity verification system, the TSA Confirm.ID, which will be good for a 10-day travel period.

Acceptable IDs that can be used for flying include a Real ID or a U.S. passport.

The TSA is encouraging anyone without a Real ID to make an appointment with their local DMV now. They expect increase wait times for passengers who do not have acceptable indentification.

The Real ID Act was implemented in 2005, but has not been fully enforced until this year.

For a full list of acceptable ID and more information on the fee, you can visit TSA’s website here.
