TULSA, Okla. — One man has been arrested as a suspect in the theft of a pickup truck from Americas Auto Auction.
Tulsa Police said on January 31 around 4 a.m., officers responded to a call for an auto theft in progress at Americas Auto Auction near Admiral Boulevard and Mingo Road. The caller told police someone stole a white Chevrolet Silverado truck from the lot and drove through the closed gate.

The driver was seen by officers speeding down 89th East Avenue. The driver, identified by police as 32-year-old Mikal Terrell, did not stop for either stop signs or for officers.
Police said Terrell ran over a fence and drove through a church parking lot near 2nd Street and Vandalia Avenue before getting the truck stuck in snow and mud.
Terrell refused to exit the truck after officers commanded him to and was coaxed out after officers used pepper balls. Terrell was taken into custody.
Officers returned the key, another key fob, and the stolen truck to America’s Auto Auction.

Mikal Terrell was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for larceny of a motor vehicle after former conviction of a felony, possession of a stolen vehicle after conviction of a felony, eluding officers, knowingly concealing stolen property, malicious injury to property, obstructing an officer, and resisting arrest.
This is an arrest, not a conviction.
