BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Broken Arrow Police Department said they’re searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian on Saturday.
Authorities said between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, a pedestrian was hit by a car on North Aspen Avenue, located just south of West Omaha Street near Sonic and Battle Creek Church.
According to the department, the driver drove away from the scene and has yet to be identified.
Authorities said the pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the crash and is still in the hospital.
Police said their Traffic Specialist Unit is investigating the incident and is asking anyone in the area around the time of the crash to check their dash cam footage or to reach out if they believe they saw anything related to the crash.
