Deputies say they soon spotted 27-year-old Aron Cheatwood walking with the packages near 87th Street North and Memorial.

They say he followed their instructions at first, dropping the packages and raising his hands, but then took off running.

They say they set up a perimeter and eventually caught him about a few blocks away in the 7700 block of 86th Street North.

The Sheriff’s Office says Cheatwood also has some other outstanding warrants in Tulsa County.

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of Petty Larceny, Porch Piracy, and Obstruction.

They say the stolen property was returned to its owner.
