Severe Weather Potential for Green Country this Weekend

After a lull in storm chances Thursday, the Tulsa metro and much of northeastern Oklahoma will face the potential for a severe weather outbreak with possible tornadic activity beginning Friday. A round of storms is possible Friday morning, and a more severe weather threat is expected Friday evening and early Saturday. The storms are part of system expected to bring multiple days of severe weather over a large area stretching from Texas into parts of the Midwest. Hail, strong winds and possible flooding is also expected. The storms are expected to clear out Saturday afternoon, with warm weather and clear skies expected Sunday and Monday, and another potential round of storms possible on Tuesday.
