City and business leaders celebrated a new, high-tech addition to Tulsa’s aerospace scene on Thursday.
Lufthansa Technik cut the ribbon on a 25,000 square-foot building at Tulsa International Airport, which they say will offer state-of-the-art maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components.
The new building features 90 new workstations, where the company works on aircraft components for many different planes, including the Airbus A-320 and Boeing 737.
And the company says they’re not done expanding in Tulsa.
They say they plan to eventually triple the size of this new building, saying it underscores their commitment to be an attractive employer in the Tulsa region.
