The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Wind Advisory until 1pm Thursday for portions of northeast, east central, and southeast Oklahoma, as well as northwest and west central Arkansas.
Southwest winds are currently 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour. The gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects, and could possibly bring down tree limbs. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
The KRMG StormCenter is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as needed during the advisory.
