BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — The Bartlesville Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left a man dead Tuesday morning.
Police said officers responded to reports of a stabbing at a house near South Maple Avenue and West 14th Street around 8 a.m.
Officers found a man dead when they arrived.
Detectives with the Bartlesville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division responded and took over the investigation.
Police said two men who were at the scene were taken to the police department for further questioning.
At this time, police are not releasing names of those involved in the incident. The identity of the victim will be shared once family members are notified.
Police said early information shows this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
