“Workforce development starts with exposure,” said De’Andre Fahie, Director of Workforce Development and Talent Attraction at the BAEDC. “This camp allows students to see these careers up close, ask questions, and imagine themselves in these roles one day.”

Space is limited to 30 students, with half being selected for the healthcare track and the other half selected for the manufacturing track.

The four-day camp is set to take place June 15-18. Rising 10th through 12th graders are encouraged to apply

“Programs like the Broken Arrow Summer STEM Camp are critical to building the next generation of talent,” said Amber Miller, Vice President of Economic Development at the BAEDC. “By connecting students directly with employers and real-world work environments, we’re helping them see the incredible opportunities available in healthcare and manufacturing right here in our region.”

Selected students will attend industry tours, speak with professionals in the respective fields, and gain valuable experience.

The camp is sponsored by Tulsa Technology Center, Chart Industries, Inc., and several other community sponsors.
