Bixby is preparing a $67.5 million bond proposal for voters on August 25, and city leaders say it won’t raise taxes.
The package would fund several major projects, including a new fire station south of the river to ease pressure on the recently opened station at 151st and Sheridan.
It also includes road‑widening projects, notably Harvard between 141st and 151st, plus improvements north of the river, to keep up with the city’s rapid growth.
Residents are being asked to weigh in. An online survey is open through April 20, and the city will host three public bond meetings on April 28, April 30, and May 5 at the Municipal Building.
You can find the survey here.
