A preschool in south Tulsa was evacuated Thursday morning after an apparent bomb threat at the Primrose School near 101st and Memorial.
First responders quickly arrived, and Tulsa police officers walked the building alongside school administrators to ensure everyone was safe.
Tulsa Police Chief Dennis Larsen later told KRMG the situation shows “all the signs of a swatting incident,” adding that multiple daycares were targeted and officers are checking each location.
So far, nothing credible has been found.
Bixby Police Officer Leo Sanchez tells KRMG that schools received a call from an anonymous caller whose voice was disguised, reporting an alleged bomb on the property.
He says the immediate response was to evacuate everyone from the building, which they did, and everyone is safe. Parents were notified and got with their kids. The daycare next to the school was not involved.
