TULSA, Okla. — Germanfest 2026 opened Friday in Tulsa, bringing three days of traditional food, music and cultural activities to the city.
The annual event, now in its 22nd year, is being held at the GAST Event Center in midtown Tulsa. Organizers say festivities began Friday morning and will continue through the weekend.
Hours are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The venue is located at 15th Street and Terrace Drive, one block west of Lewis Avenue.
Visitors can sample German foods, including schnitzel, bratwurst, potato pancakes and apple strudel, along with beverages such as beer and German iced coffee. A featured dessert this year is forest trifle, previously offered only during the Christkindlmarkt in December.
Merchandise, including steins, Hummel figurines, chocolate and seasonings will also be available.
Organizers say the festival includes live entertainment, music, children’s activities and a traditional raffle.
