Tulsa Police investigating shooting in north Tulsa Sunday

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department is investigating a shooting in north Tulsa from Sunday morning.

Police were called to the QuikTrip at 46th Street North and Lewis around 5 a.m. When they arrived, they met with a 56-year-old woman who was shot while driving her car down 46th St. N. The victim said she was being followed by an unknown pickup truck and someone from the truck began shooting at her.

After she was hit, the victim drove to the QuikTrip. The suspect fled the scene.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive her injuries.

Tulsa Police is asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS (2677) and refer to case number 2026-024584.
