TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Police arrested a rape suspect while he was working out at the gym Friday morning.
The TPD Street Crimes Unit was staking out a gym near 31st and Mingo, where they say 49-year-old Robert Tryon was working out.
Tryon had a felony warrant out of Pawnee County, charged with 1st Degree Rape and Abuse by Caretaker.
Officers stopped Tryon mid-workout and asked him who he was.
After confirming he was indeed the rape suspect, officers booked him into the Tulsa County jail, where he is waiting for deputies to take him back to Pawnee County.
His bond is listed at $1 million.
