A violent domestic incident at a south Tulsa apartment complex left a 49‑year‑old man dead, according to Tulsa Police.
Around 2 p.m. on Sunday, officers were called to the Avondale Apartments near 67th and Utica after a woman reported that her husband, Andrey Nears, attacked their 16‑year‑old son and then turned on her.

Officers arrived to find Nears dead at the scene.
The teen was questioned and released, and the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office will now review the case to determine whether any charges will be filed.
